Patricia Foscolo

Patricia is engineer in agronomy and commercial engineer.

She has been chairwoman of the Brussels Environmental Council from 2000 to 2016. She worked first for a not for profit organization in environmental protection. She joined the Brussels Regional Development Agency (citydev.brussels) in 1992 to launch a unit supporting SME’s implementing environmental laws.

In 2003, she launched greentech.brussels at the Brussels Enterprise Agency (renamed impulse.brussels), which is a support for SME’s willing to develop in innovative environmental businesses or willing to develop green products & services. In that framework greentech.brussels launched in 2011 a green accelerator nowadays called greenlab.brussels. It also has to do with implementing the Circular Economy within the development of green start-ups & companies. greentech.brussels is a support for sustainable business planning, financing, strategic information, technology watch, international partnership… It involves also raising the awareness of any companies to implement environmental and sound energy technologies.
